I am not affiliated with the CROSSFIT franchise. But I have been a life-long advocate of cross fit training, as in ... I train EVERY aspect of fitness, not just single elements. I train myself and my clients the same way: improving stength, cardio, endurance, flexibility, and mobility. I abhor machines (weight machines, spinning machines, etc., etc.) I will train you in the middle of a room, where you have to sit, stand, and move in empty space. Your core will be engaged the entire hour, assisting you in balance and movement control on multiple planes. Every muscle in your body will be activated and engaged, and in exercises and drills that will enhance your FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH < read: I will be stronger in my everyday life, in both routine and in emergency situations. To me, that is what cross fit training is all about. Training the entire body in complex movements that engage and challenge groups of muscles while elevating your heart rate, accelerating your breathing pattern, and sweating out the toxins. Speaking of which .... it's time for another training session!
Bambi has not only helped me shed 50 lbs. of unwanted weight, build a strong, functional musculature, and teach me everything I need to know about eating correctly, but she has taught me how to PRIORITIZE my nutrition, my workouts, and my ME-time. I can't thank her enough!
