Self Love For Valentine's Day

Do you love yourself? Have you promised to love, honor and cherish YOURSELF? If the answer is no .... my question is WHY NOT? If I have learned anything from my 57 years on earth, it is this: knowing, loving, and caring for your mental, emotional, and physical health must be priority one in your life. This is the base from which all else flows. And I place HEALTH at the top of this trio, for without health, your mental and emotional levels spiral downward. Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and I suggest that THIS year, you gift yourself with a commitment to improving your health and fitness. For Valentine's Day, arrange to enjoy a healthy meal to celebrate your new goals and commitment. May I suggest broiled scallops with a side of broccoli and yams? (<one of my favorite meals). And although it may not come in a pretty box with a bow on it, one of the best gifts you can give yourself this Valentine's Day is a session with a personal trainer. In our first session, we will discuss your goals, review your nutrition, and enjoy a fun workout to evaluate your strength, mobility, and cardio level. Give yourself a lot of love - you are deserving!

I felt guilty about how overweight I had become, and how out of shape I was. Bambi got my mind straight about the "journey" I was on. I'm a work in progress, and every week I learn something new from her about nutrition and living a life of fitness. My progress has been steady(!) and I'm motivated to stay in this for the long haul.
