Taking Control
Posted 2013-10-02 by Bambi Christman in Training

Managing your weight and your fitness IS a control issue. If you are going through your days mindlessly eating "whatever" for your meals, and working out whenever the guilt hits you - you are NOT in CONTROL of your body and its state of health. Take a look in the mirror. Does your body reflect this lack of control? There are so many things in our lives that we are not able to control, but our nutrition and our fitness training ARE within our power to control. And it need not be overwhelming. It simply needs to become your routine, the same as brushing your teeth and combing your hair. Here is how simple it can be: Saturday: 1 hour of grocery shopping for healthy foods, Sunday: 1 hour of food prep for a week's worth of prepared breakfast and lunch, and 1 hour every other day for a fitness workout. I can help you with a simple menu of foods to prepare that will keep you satisfied and give you back control over your weight. (and improve your health!) Train with me, and you will soon learn enough to be able to train on your own to improve and maintain your strength, flexibility, and joint mobility. Isn't it time you took back CONTROL of YOU?

I've learned SO MUCH about my body and how it works! Bambi takes the time to analyze me as I'm training, picking up on dysfunctional movement, no matter HOW SLIGHT it may be. Her corrections to my form in our drills has resolved a lower back pain I suffered with for years and strengthened me in ways I never thought were possible!
